This week I worked more on the code for the Jump Meter. First of all I made a model on a piece of paper where four sensors are faced across from each other in order to properly test the code without there being a chance for a hardware issue. After testing that they all worked individually, I tested them all together. This didn't work initially, but after rearranging some of the curly brackets in the code I was able to get 3 of the sensors to print the highest numbered one when they were activated. The second sensor had some problems however, it would always stay activated, no matter what. Initially I thought it was because it was on the 1 pin while I was using the serial monitor, but I used different pins and the problem still continued. Then I thought it might be the sensor, so after switching it out for another one, but that still didn't fix it. I was able to make the code work, just without using that second sensor of the four. During this I also made a protractor out of acrylic because I needed one for my physics class. I found a printable template online and put that into inkscape, then I changed the colors of different parts in order to differentiate what I wanted to cut and what I wanted to engrave. Finally, I helped my classmate Milo Austin install a speaker into the wall.
