This week I worked more on the gooseneck lamp. My first goal was to finish making the bracket to attach the gooseneck to the light. Previously I had 3D printed this but the 3D printed version wasn't perfect, with multiple holes not being the right size, so I decided to mill it. To do this I used the "manufacture" section of Fusion 360 with the help of Mr. Lewkowitz. Once the file was done in Fusion I began cutting it on the mill, ensuring that I was using all the right sizes this time.

On the mill I located the center of the stock I was using, then began cutting it. When I finished cutting the holes out, I then cut the rest of the stock off to get it to the right size. However when I did a test fit, the holes were slightly too big, so I had to cut the top side down by .0882 of an inch. This came with some problems, but I finally got the holes to be the right size. After ensuring everything was all set, I started to use apoxy to keep the magnets stuck in. I was on limited time though, so I didn't finish, but I'll finish that as soon as possible.
